Caliente is an automated content migration solution. Content and metadata can be consistently imported from a variety of sources, including hot folders, databases, eRoom, and flat files. Both content and metadata are then automatically migrated to your ECM repository. For example, with Caliente, you can designate certain folders on the file system as hot folders. Caliente monitors each hot folder and performs the appropriate task on content as it arrives. Users can now simply drag and drop files into local folders to insert them into the repository, eliminating the need to learn an extensive ECM interface.

Caliente has the ability to migrate to and from various different electronic formats, including but not limited to, ODBC compliant databases, EMC Documentum, SharePoint, Alfresco, eRoom and even hot folders.
