Entity Extraction
Armedia's Entity Extraction solutions give you the ability to extract certain types of entities (names, places, organizations, dates etc) from foreign language documents, and store these entities as searchable attributes (Meta data) of the content. This way, you can quickly obtain a list of important entities mentioned in a document, or search for documents based on specific entity criteria.
For example you could search for all documents that mention the name Nicole Harris, the location Rabat, Morocco and a date between 08.01.2007 and 03.30.2008. Once you find a set of documents based on your entity criteria, these can then be machine translated or human translated. Without Armedia's solution, your human linguists would have needed to translate your entire repository for this simple search.
